The way of life of urban communities, such as those in the Rattanakosin Island area that have turned into slums, has been greatly impacted by the city's development and constant stream of economic development. Traditional and beautiful architectural structures were neglected, while people interacted with each other less and less.
We realize the significance of reconnecting the community with its way of life, with the hope to recover the community’s economy that is based on historical roots, traditions, and maintenance of ancient architectures. Initiated by local residents, this project aims to construct a network of urban communities in order to maintain the arts, cultures, traditions, conserve the architecture, and foster long-term community strength.
