The Nang Loeng Children's Street Art Project aims to honor local traditions and artifacts, including those from the Dance House (Baan Ten Rum), Lakhon Chatree, Ban Lam Tad, Ban Klong Yao, Nang Loeng Art House, Luang Pu Thuop, sacred objects from Wat Kae Nang Loeng or Wat Sunthon Thammathan, all of which serve as the community's center.
There will be an art performance by a Butoh artist, and also an event from the youth in the community to express their ideas by writing letters to angels (a message to the sky). Additionally, there is a screening of the documentary film, "Got Will Die for Sure: The Story of Kluay Khaek and Slum Kids," which was created by young people from the Nang Loeng community.
These activities help children connect with each other, and encourage them to think and act in ways that help them understand the world, appreciate people around them, and realize their own value.
