ปะติด - ไปต่อ : นางเลิ้ง : อดีต ปัจจุบัน อนาคต

Literally translated from the Thai name of Baan Ten Rum, the Dance House was originally ‘Samakkee Lee-lat Dancing School’ which gave dancing classes, especially in ballroom dancing. Back in the 60s, this two-story wooden house was also one of Bangkok’s most popular venues for young people to socialize and became the symbol of western influence. Therefore, this mansion serves as yet another reminder of the advent of western culture. "Par-Tid-Pai-Tor" exhibition depicts the state of Baan Ten Rum prior to its renovation, transforming the previously abandoned dancing school into a museum of ballroom dancing and of community’s exchange. There were also events and workshops on ballroom dance to activate the space. 

ก่อนบ้านเต้นรำจะเป็นบ้านเต้นรำในปัจจุบัน บ้านเต้นรำเคยเป็น “บ้านสามัคคีลีลาศ” โรงเรียนสอนเต้นรำ โดยเฉพาะการเต้นบอลรูม ย้อนไปสมัยทศวรรษที่ 60 บ้านไม้สองชั้นแห่งนี้เคยเป็นสถานที่สังสรรค์ของหนุ่มสาวที่เป็นที่นิยมที่สุดในกรุงเทพ จนกลายเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของอิทธิพลจากตะวันตก บ้านเก่าแก่แห่งนี้จึงเป็นอีกหนึ่งเครื่องเตือนใจถึงการมาถึงของวัฒนธรรมตะวันตก นิทรรศการ “ปะติด-ไปต่อ” ตั้งใจแสดงสภาพของบ้านเต้นรำก่อนการบูรณะที่แปลงโรงเรียนเต้นรำร้างให้กลายเป็นพิพิธภัณฑ์ของการเต้นบอลรูมและการแลกเปลี่ยนภายในชุมชน นอกจากนี้แล้วยังมีอีเว้นท์และเวิร์กช็อปต่างๆ เพื่อประกอบนิทรรศการ
